My journey began as a tile helper, working alongside skilled craftsmen on custom residential homes. From the very beginning, I learned that exceptional tile work is about much more than setting tile it's about precision, preparation, attention to detail, and creating installations that will stand the test of time. Wanting to master the trade, I joined the Tile Union apprenticeship program, where I received extensive hands-on and classroom training while working on commercial and residential projects. During my apprenticeship, I also returned to work for a highend custom home builder, gaining valuable experience installing premium tile and stone in luxury residences. After completing the apprenticeship program, I earned the title of Journeyman Tile Setter, combining traditional craftsmanship with industry recognized training.
